10-29-20 THOUGHTS

It’s MORNING one more time.  Thank you Lord!  
Ps 5:3   In the morning, O LORD, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will order [my] [prayer] to You and [eagerly] watch.
Mark 1:35   In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left [the house,] and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there.
There’s something special about the START, the beginning.  We look forward rather than backward.  Something is ahead!  Possibility is alive still.

Ps 30:5   For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy [comes] in the morning.
Ps 59:16   But as for me, I shall sing of Your strength; Yes, I shall joyfully sing of Your lovingkindness [HESED,  for our Wednesday pm class is used at least 5 times in these passages] in the morning, For You have been my stronghold And a refuge in the day of my distress.
Ps 90:14   O satisfy us in the morning with Your lovingkindness, That we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
Ps 92:1-2  It is good to give thanks to the LORD And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; 2  To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning And Your faithfulness by night,
Ps 143:8   Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul.
Lam 3:21-26    This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. 22  The LORD’S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. 23  They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. 24  "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I have hope in Him." 25  The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the person who seeks Him. 26  It is good that he waits silently For the salvation of the LORD.
NEW EVERY MORNING... what a marvelous thought!   HOPE!  No wonder I love mornings!

My Prayer:
We praise you, Oh God,  for Jesus who gives us hope each day. Thank you, Oh Lord,  that our sins and weaknesses do not overcome us.  Your love and compassion is renewed each morning.  You are wonderful before us.  Help us to wait patiently and joyfully for the coming of your Son.
